We are seeking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of History (1 Year Fixed Term Contract – 0.5 to 0.6 FTE) to join a friendly, thriving department teaching pupils who achieve excellent results at GCSE and A level. Typically, pupils leave the School in Year 13 for Russell Group universities, with a number of pupils making Oxbridge applications and apprenticeship applications each year.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic and experienced History teacher: knowledgeable, inspiring, articulate and supportive. They will have vision and drive, with the ability and determination to maintain the very high educational standards for which the Department is already known. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role – imparting their own passion for the subject to pupils, as well as working collaboratively with the Department, wider staff body and liaising with parents.

The salary for this role will be Teachers’ Main or Enhanced Pay Scale, depending on experience.
