We are seeking an innovative, enthusiastic and dynamic person to join our high performing Media team. Meeting the standards for teaching and support of learning in further education, the post holder will provide technical support to our Media team and deliver technical instruction or skills based training and demonstration. This is a fixed‑term position, starting on 5th May and running for 12 months.
The post holder will support, instruct and guide students, promoting a high quality training/learning experience for all students through demonstrable skills in camera equipment, lighting, sound and post-production software, reviewing and improving practice in line with student and manager feedback. You will be required to provide general technical support and housekeeping for the department, including the booking and dissemination of equipment as well as being responsible for the instruction and approval of risk assessments for student projects.
