About the Role:

As a Lecturer in Electronics Engineering, you will deliver engaging, hands-on, and inclusive learning experiences that prepare students for careers in electronics, automation, and digital technologies. You will teach across our Level 2, Level 3, and HNC programmes, focusing on:

• Electronics Theory – including circuit design, analogue/digital systems, and embedded technologies

• Mathematical Applications – supporting learners in applying core maths to solve engineering problems

• PLC Programming – introducing students to programmable logic controllers and industrial automation

• Mechatronics – integrating mechanical, electrical, and computer systems in practical contexts

• Digital Principles – covering logic systems, microcontrollers, and digital communication

• Mechanical Principles – applying foundational mechanical engineering concepts to support multidisciplinary learning

You’ll work closely with our curriculum team to ensure students receive high-quality instruction and pastoral support. You will also contribute to the development of our new T Level in Engineering, helping shape a curriculum that reflects current industry standards and future workforce needs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Industry professionals with expertise in electronics engineering, mechatronics, mechanical principles, and applied mathematics

• Experience with PLCs, digital systems, and electronics theory

• Teaching qualifications are desirable; support may be available for candidates working toward them

• A commitment to mentoring, inclusive education, and continuous improvement

• Flexibility to support a range of electronics topics and contribute to curriculum development
