37 hours per week

With a College priority of developing the mathematical skills of our learners, we have a full time teaching position for an outstanding maths teacher in readiness for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Our college has high expectations of teaching, learning and assessment and has a dedicated team of specialist teachers to deliver mathematics to our learners’.

Do you have a firm belief in the potential of all learners? Do you reflect on and develop new approaches to learning? If this sounds like you, we are keen to hear from you.

You should be:

  • A qualified teacher with experience of teaching WJEC GCSE Mathematics.

You should have:

  •  Innovative strategies to engage learners’ and help them to fulfil their full potential.
  •  Excellent organisational and communication skills to ensure successful outcomes within the delivery timeframe.
  •  An understanding of quality assurance and assessment.
  •  An understanding of diverse learner needs.

Experience of teaching Essential Application of Number is desirable.

The successful candidate will take up post in September 2024.

The ability to use the Welsh language at basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable
