Hours: Full Time. Part time hours may be considered for the right candidate

Salary: Main Scale 1-6 or Upper Pay Scale 1-3 as appropriate

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Geography teacher to join our high achieving Geography department. This role would suit an established, inspirational teacher, or a newly qualified or unqualified teacher making their first step into a new school.
The successful candidate will:

The Geography Department
The Geography department at Commonweal is successful and very popular, we have the biggest uptake at KS4 of any options subject, and we also run a popular A Level. We are successful because we are passionate about our subject, we want to inspire students to a lifelong love of geography. We want the geography that we teach to help students to understand the world around them. We have a comprehensively planned and resourced curriculum and aim to ensure students get the best experience in lessons; these are regularly changed and adapted to suit our students and ensure they receive high quality teaching. We value building positive relationships with students and with colleagues. The Geography department sits within the Humanities faculty which is a large, friendly and supportive team.
