Job Title:        Placement Officer in Health and Social Care

Hours:             35 hours per week/Full Time/Permanent

Salary:            £24,934 per annum

About the role:

You will be responsible for assisting learners to complete their DBS applications. Identifying and securing work experience opportunities for learners Cross-College. To carry out monitoring visits, observations and assessment on learners on work placement. Identify and support with any other additional training opportunities for employers. Arranging enrichment activities for learners relating to industry and future job opportunities.

About you:

You should have appropriate experience and qualifications reflecting a strong background in placing learners in industry placements. Health and Social Care knowledge is desirable and a knowledge of the industry. You should have excellent communication and organisation skills. You should be able to keep a clear track of all industry placements and the hours completed by each individual learner. A key part of the position is finding and making links for new industry placements
