Veterinary Nursing Training Officer – Bicton College – Salary: CC32 £24,041.03 – CC33 £24,149.10 FTE (pro-rata for part-time) – Hours per week: 22.5 – Weeks per year: 52 - Closing Date: 30 July 2023 – Interview Date: TBC

Based at Bicton College, we are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced individual to join our dedicated and highly professional Veterinary Nursing team. We are looking for an organised and self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who will be responsible for overseeing the effective delivery and assessment of learning in the workplace, enabling student veterinary nurses to achieve their maximum potential.

Bicton College is a specialist Land-based College with purpose-built animal science and veterinary nursing training facilities working closely with industry and developing the employability skills for the future industry.

Applicants must be a registered Veterinary Nurse, ideally holding a TAQA Verifier/IQA award or be willing to undertake the TAQA Verifier/IQA awards. In addition, the applicant must be a Clinical Coach/Supervisor with good understanding and knowledge of the e portfolio, have at least one year’s experience of assessment and have competent IT Skills. Teaching experience would also be beneficial, though not essential.
