Salary:  £23,898 to £34,080 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Coventry College is looking to appoint two dynamic and enthusiastic lecturers who can inspire our learners to achieve their full potential. We recognise that our lecturing staff are integral to the success of the College and student achievement.

As a Lecturer in English, you should:

• Hold a minimum Level 3 English qualification

• Hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one

• Be able to evidence continuing professional development

You should also be able to demonstrate:

• Experience of teaching English up to GCSE Level

• Evidence of effective tracking and monitoring of a wide range of students on a range of different programmes

• Enthusiasm for teaching English, with an ability to motivate and inspire learners to succeed

We are recruiting for more than one Lecturer in English. A flexible approach to working hours is essential. We have opportunities on either a full-time or part-time basis, please specify in your application your preferred number of hours. Job share arrangements will be considered.
