Sessional Lecturer English

Coventry College is looking to appoint dynamic, conscientious and enthusiastic lecturers, with a genuine passion for teaching. We are looking for lecturers who can inspire and stretch our learners to realise their full potential in each and every lesson and transform learner attainment.

As a Lecturer in English, you should:
- Hold a minimum Level 3 English qualification
- Hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one
- Be able to evidence continuing professional development
You should also be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of teaching English up to GCSE Level
- Evidence of effective tracking and monitoring of a wide range of students on a range of different programmes
- Enthusiasm for teaching English, and a love of the subject, with an ability to motivate and inspire learners to succeed.
