Sessional Lecturers Music (033/2223)
£21.97 per hour
Do you have a passion for education with plenty of enthusiasm to develop and inspire the next generation? We have an opportunity for motivated individuals to join our sessional bank of staff, teaching on a brand new Music course as we continue to develop our Performing Arts provision.
Teaching on our Level 3 Music Performance course you may deliver projects on composition, music theory, history of music, influential genres, stage presence, personal promotion and collaborative practice.
As a Sessional Lecturer in Music, you should:
• Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in Music or a relevant discipline
• Hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one
• Be able to evidence continuing professional development
Ideally you should also be able to demonstrate:
• Industry Expertise in the Music industry
• Experience of teaching Music related courses to a range of levels
• Experience of teaching a range of learners from 16-19 years and adults from a wide range of social and ethnic backgrounds

This post is sessional, and hours are available from September 2022. Please state the number of hours and days which you are able to work on your application form. The successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.
