Salary: £45,710 to £48,500 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and professional individual to join our team in a key learner support role. You will play an important part in helping the College run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall learner and staff experience.
The successful candidate will take the lead in managing and developing SEND practice at the College, ensuring appropriate support for learners, through managing a team of practitioners and specialists.

Requirements
Must-Have:
• Possession of a degree or appropriate professional qualification and hold, or
• be working towards, a recognised teaching qualification;
• Managed ALS or SEND services in a previous education establishment
• Experience of managing support for learners with EHCP’s and a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities
• Experience of planning support for learners with a wide range of learning disabilities or differences.
• Experience of working with key stakeholders, such as Local Authorities, to agree appropriate levels of funding for learner support.
• Experience of claiming High Needs Funding and 19+ ALS funding
• Experience of arranging exam support for learners with additional learning needs
