Croydon College is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Employer Engagement Executive to join our Apprenticeships team. We are one of London’s leading colleges specialising in apprenticeships.

We are looking for someone experienced as a Business Development Executive, preferably with experience of working in the apprenticeships, education and training sector. You should be result focused, target orientated with the ability to generate new opportunities and develop strong business relationship with new clients and with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets in sales.

This is a sales role and you will identify and engage with employers to help them meet their apprenticeship needs and promote our range of apprenticeship programmes. You will be responsible for generating and following up leads through cold calling, marketing, social media and networking as well as face-to-face meetings to attract new business. You will seek to become a first point of contact for employers, building effective working relationships, with integrity, for both existing and new employers. You will ensure a high-quality account management service is provided. You will have strongly developed influencing, problem solving and creative skills.

Developing relationships with employers in Croydon, London and the South East, you will represent the College, meet demanding deadlines, be flexible and be willing to travel.

Positioning yourself as the go-to person for employers looking to develop or enhance their workplace learning, you will need to have good knowledge of the apprenticeship delivery models and the apprenticeship levy regime. You will also have excellent knowledge of the marketplace and possess strong sales and negotiation techniques.

You must have a Level 2 English and Maths, or the willingness to achieve this.
