Croydon College is committed to providing an outstanding Careers & Employability programme for every student.

As a Work Placement Officer within our newly formed Careers & Employability team, you will undertake a key role in the provision of high-quality work experiences, substantial work placements and work-related activities for learners.

With your experience in employer engagement, and an understanding of the socio-economic need to bring employers and learners together, you will be proactive in networking and securing opportunities in order to achieve personal and team targets for learners to meaningfully engage with employers.

With an empathic approach to learners from disadvantaged backgrounds, and a positive ‘can do’ attitude, you will bring a commitment to creating opportunities that raise aspirations and enable learners to be ready for the world of work.

You would be joining a motivated and experienced student focused team who are collaborative and proactive in their approach to raising aspirations and supporting students to identify and achieve their career goals.
