We have a vacancy for a Maths Teacher to join us from January 2024, on a permanent basis. We would welcome and encourage those who are ECTs or early in their career, as well as those with more experience to contact us as this could be an excellent opportunity to start or continue your career in teaching within a good school.
We are open to applications from those who are looking for full time and part time posts as we can be flexible with the hours for this post; please note on your application form what hours you would be interested in.
About you
The successful candidate will be a strong and engaging practitioner, with a passion for teaching Mathematics up to GCSE to all ability ranges. You will be able to build effective relationships with both staff and students and will be a positive role model.
You will be well supported by an established team of colleagues within the department and will have additional support from the CSET Mathematics Lead. The department currently uses the White Rose Maths scheme at KS3 (Yr 7 -9) and Edexcel at GCSE. Housed in recently refurbished classrooms, you will have access to the latest interactive board technology.
