Mangotsfield School is excited to be recruiting for a permanent Music Teacher to join our dedicated team. About the role
Your role as teacher of music will be to inspire a love of learning in our students and develop their creativity and resilience through great teaching and a strong enrichment programme. You will work closely with the creative arts team to ensure that music holds a central place in school life and our wider school community.
About You
We are looking for an inspiring musician and a reflective practitioner, capable of demonstrating initiative, as well as being flexible and adaptable. You will ensure equality of opportunity, irrespective of starting points, to enable all musical learners to make good progress. You will be motivated and committed to enhancing pupils musical development through extra curricular activity.
You will be proficient in using ICT, especially through music technology and have excellent communication skills. You will also be personable and approachable and be able to quickly build warm and effective relationships with students, and colleagues in the School and across the Trust. Importantly, you will be a positive role model for students and an outstanding musical leader.
