Marlwood School is situated in rural South Gloucestershire, less than 20 minutes from the vibrant city of Bristol. This is a unique opportunity to lead a small school with a strong identity that is supported by an aspirational local community. Marlwood is located on a stunning site in Alveston, near to the Severn Estuary and with excellent transport links to the M5 and M4.
We are looking to appoint an exceptional, ambitious Head of School to lead Marlwood from September 2024. The successful candidate will work closely with an experienced Executive Headteacher to achieve the highest standards of teaching and learning, behaviour, and attendance for all pupils.

All appointments are subject to a comprehensive pre-employment checking process. This includes an Enhanced DBS check (including a Children’s Barred List check), satisfactory references, medical fitness, Right to Work in the UK, and where applicable, a prohibition from teaching/management check.
