Job Title: SEND Administrator

Hours: 35 hours per week

Working weeks: 39 weeks per year (Term Time Only + INSET)

Salary: CSET 9. £27,711 FTE (£22,546 prorated)

Contract type: Fixed term contract until 31/08/2026

Location: Split between The Castle School and Marlwood School, both part of CSET


About the Role

You will be the SEND Administrator across two of our schools, which are less than 3 miles apart and less than a ten minute drive. You will provide operational support to the SEND Teams in both schools, to ensure the needs of our students are proactively managed. You will be able to provide professional and efficient administrative support to the SEND team and wider professionals. You will present a professional image of both schools when welcoming visitors and communicating regularly with the families.

About You

It is essential that you will have the ability to promote and safeguard the safety and welfare of students in accordance with CSET wide and school policies. You’ll have great organisational skills and be able to multitask. Demonstrable work experience in a general office environment including working within administrative procedures including experience of using Google, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, databases, mail merge and IT packages. You will be able to follow and work within procedures and guidelines. You’ll be able to deal helpfully, politely and tactfully with colleagues, parents, pupils and senior management. You can manage your own workload and meet deadlines, which may at times be competing. Some knowledge of SIMS database and knowledge of SEN would be highly desirable but not essential.
