Are you an experienced media makeup artist? Do you have a flair for inspiring and developing talented trainees? Are you looking for a change in direction, or simply a way to top up your existing income? Then this could be the role for you.

JOB TITLE: Lecturer - Media Makeup (Sessional)

LOCATION: Kings Lynn

HOURS: 14 hours per week September to December - then ad hoc

SALARY: £25.69 - £32.40 per hour

AVAILABLE FROM AUGUST 2025 (TEACHING COMMENCING IN SEPTEMBER 2025)

Due to continued high numbers of students enrolling on our Media Makeup courses we are looking for an additional Lecturer to join the team on an ad hoc basis. Our well-equipped media makeup studios off our learners access to industry standard products and facilities, including mac makeup.

Our learners are incredible; we regularly compete in Worldskills championships, host exhibitions and more to show just how talented they really are. You will play a vital role in enabling them to reach their full potential and follow their career dreams.

Never taught before? Not a problem. As long as you hold a minimum of a level 3 qualification in media makeup and have some industry experience we can give you the skills and support you need to thrive in education.

Between September and December hours are available Monday 1-4pm, Thursday 9-3pm, Friday 9-3pm

This will be covering a level 3 media makeup class for 3 months. The candidate should have a level 3 qualification in media makeup. We pride ourselves on our approach to the work life balance of our team and actively support job share and flexible working opportunities.

Please note that your point on the salary scale will be determined based on both experience and teaching qualifications. Appointments will not normally be made at point 12 or above (£35,831 FTE) without a level 5 teaching qualification and experience.
