OVERALL PURPOSE:

To supervise and administrate examinations in compliance with College and Awarding Body requirements.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To liaise with the Registry Team regarding Awarding Body regulations/Special examination arrangements, and collection of examination paperwork.

2. To set up the examination room in accordance with appropriate regulations ensuring all PC terminals are ready for the exam if an online test.

3. To supervise candidates from entry to the examination venue until all scripts (if paper based) have been collected in line with awarding body regulations.

4. To ensure that all candidates are fully aware of regulations relating to their examination, and adhere to those regulations.

5. To undertake administration as specified by Awarding Bodies e.g. attendance registers, seating plans, software is ready to run where online etc.

6. To collect and collate all scripts and attendance registers on completion of examinations and return them to Exams Coordinator, reporting any irregularities which may have occurred, e.g. noise, late arrivals etc.

7. To continue to develop knowledge of Awarding Body requirements and software updates as appropriate.

8. To support College policies, procedures and quality assurance systems. To conduct aspects of all duties and responsibilities in line with the Corporation’s Health & Safety Policy in the interests of themselves, other colleagues and students.

9. To perform such other reasonable duties commensurate with the grade of the post as required by the Principal and Chief Executive.
