Schools Engagement Coach
The post-holder work with careers advisors and schools to speak with learners about post 16 options.
1) Work closely with secondary schools across Darlington, North Yorkshire and County Durham to engage with school leavers about their next steps following GCSEs
2) Attend careers events, parent’s evenings, jobs fairs and mock interviews.
3) Plan and implement taster sessions and bespoke tours at the college.
4) Organise College Open Events and actively promote to the relevant target audiences.
5) Keep in touch with schools to collaborate on application and enrolment numbers
6) Assist in analysing data trends and updating market share information.

•Ensure students know that there are staff in the College whom they can approach if they are worried
•Include opportunities in the curriculum for students to develop the skills they need to recognise and stay safe from abuse
•All staff will be required to undertake appropriate safeguarding induction and training.
