Ridgeway Farm CE Academy is a fantastic place to work and learn. The Academy is newly built on the Ridgeway Farm housing development near Purton village, Wiltshire and on the border with the town of Swindon. We opened in September 2016 with 3 classes and we now have 7 classes and we are open to all year groups.

We are currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will have :

•  Experience of supporting learning within the primary phase
•  Participating in a team approach to planning/innovation
•  Working knowledge of planning, supporting and assessment involved in the primary phase
•  Ability to design, with support, stimulating learning environments and activities
•  Confidence to work collaboratively and make suggestions
•  Experience of developing professional relationships with colleagues and wider community
•  Commitment to own professional development

We also want to recruit a play leader who is a cheerful, caring person to join our current team of play leaders. The job will involve helping and interacting with children during wraparound sessions; preparing activities, delivering games and activities; preparing a healthy snack; encouraging independence in the children and facilitating games with the children. This is a rewarding role which involves working with children to help them develop their social skills, good manners and make friends.
