Actual Annual Salary: £26,513 - £28,924 (Based on 37 hours per week, term time only)
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £30,963 - £33,779 (CLF Grade D). Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday / Term time only + 5 inset days
Provisional Start Date: 1st September 2025
Bristol Brunel is looking for a Pastoral Support Officer, who will promote and safeguard students’ welfare and personal development. They will help to facilitate and
encourage a learning environment, which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential and have a positive school experience.
About you:
You will demonstrate:
- A good understanding of safeguarding within an educational setting or transferable knowledge of safeguarding.
- Experience of developing and maintaining good relationships with students and having appropriate contact with families and carers of children.
- A keen interest in working with children and young people and a commitment to improving the life chances of students.
- Commitment to continuous improvement through professional development, self-evaluation, and awareness.
