Governors are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified person to offer high quality provision to ensure our pupils continue to make excellent progress in their social and academic skills.
The suitable candidate will:
· be energetic, innovative, enthusiastic and committed
· be able to use their own initiative, to support students in the classroom to ensure that they are making progress academically, socially and emotionally
· be able to assist with the writing of IDPs, OPP
· prepare, plan and deliver lessons and intervention sessions
· organise Person Centred Reviews
· liaise with parents/ professionals and agencies,
· be knowledgeable about the ALN Code of Practice
The successful candidate will receive the full support of the school in continuing their own professional development and he/she will join a school where staff are well supported by colleagues, there is a real strength of community and collegiate between all members of staff. Dylan Thomas is a rapidly growing, successful and forward thinking school which has seen a dramatic increase in pupil numbers and significant investment in facilities over the last three years.
