Summary
We are looking for a tutor in St. Austell, Cornwall to support a non-verbal year six learner that has ASD. This will be to support him with his communications using PECS symbols and re-engaging him as he has not been in school for three months. The tutor would act as a social mentor to help the learner gain some independence by going on walks ect. There will also be a teaching assistant supporting on the tuition will be held in an educational setting. This support will be ongoing until an SEN school placement has been found and would need help re-integrating them back into a school setting.

Schedule: 5-10 hours per week (Timings are flexible)

Requirements:
Teaching experience, particularly in SEN settings
A compassionate and patient approach to teaching
Openness to integrating the learner's passions into lessons
Ability to create a calm and non-overwhelming atmosphere
