Expression of Interest – Community Learning, Family Learning & In-Home Delivery Roles
Are you passionate about transforming lives through community-based education and engagement?
At Education Partnership North East (EPNE), we are inviting Expressions of Interest from enthusiastic, innovative and community-focused individuals who would like to support the development and delivery of our expanding Community Learning, Family Learning and In-Home Delivery provision.
As part of our strategic plan, we are building talent pipelines for a range of current and future opportunities that will shape how learning is delivered beyond traditional classroom environments, supporting learners in place-based settings, within communities and at home.
We are keen to hear from candidates interested in roles such as:
Programme Leads
Lecturers
Curriculum Managers
Academic Mentors
Community Engagement Practitioners
Pastoral & Student Support Specialists
Whether you are an experienced education professional, a specialist from industry looking to move into teaching, or someone passionate about inclusive and innovative learning delivery, we would love to hear from you.
Flexible Opportunities
We welcome expressions of interest from individuals seeking to work with us on a:
Full-time basis
Part-time basis
Casual basis
Temporary basis
If you are considering a move into further education but do not yet hold a teaching qualification, that is not a barrier. No prior teaching experience is required. We provide full training and professional development support, including the opportunity to gain your Level 5 teaching qualification while working with us.
Taking Teaching Further & Additional Incentives
If you’re making the move into further education teaching, you may be eligible for the Taking Teaching Further (TTF) programme — a funded route designed to support industry professionals to retrain as FE teachers.
In addition, for roles in high-need subjects or regions, you may also benefit from the government’s Targeted Retention Incentive (formerly the “levelling-up premium”) payments. These payments are worth up to £6,000 for eligible teachers in their first five years who are teaching certain shortage subjects.
Please note that eligibility for both TTF and the Targeted Retention Incentive varies by role, subject area and provider, they do not apply to every vacancy.
