Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? We are a welcoming Church of England primary school, part of a dynamic multi-academy trust, dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for all our pupils. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team for the Summer Term 2025.

In this role, you will work closely with pupils who have special educational needs, providing support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your commitment and enthusiasm will play a crucial part in fostering a positive learning experience. This is a temporary position for one term, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to our school’s mission and make a meaningful impact within our community.

Contract Type: Fixed term to 9th July 2025, 32.5 hours per week, term time. (Part time hours can be considered.)

We are looking for individuals who:

  •  Are experienced in providing support for children with special education needs.
  •  Are qualified to a minimum of NVQ 2 in supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
  •  Are passionate about supporting pupil learning and development and dedicated to forming and building relationships.
  •  Are strong team players, able to inspire and motivate pupils, working effectively with the teacher.
  •  Are committed to the vision of the school.
  •  have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and is highly motivated.

Additionally, applicants are to be aware that an overseas criminal record check, or certificate of good behaviour, will be required before appointment, from candidates who have lived overseas for a period of 3 months (including aggregated time), aged 16 or over in the previous 10 years.
