Location: Midway between Guildford and Horsham in Cranleigh, Surrey
Hours: 36 hours per week, 39 weeks (term time only plus 5 inset days)
Actual Salary: £20,873 - £22,930 (pro-rata)
(Full-time Equivalent: £25,012 - £27,477, 37 hours over 52 weeks)

Our institution caters to students aged 5-19 with moderate to severe and complex social communication and learning disabilities, many of whom have autism. Role Overview:
We are seeking two dedicated Inclusion Support Mentors to join our in-house Inclusion Support Team. The successful candidates will work collaboratively with class teams to deliver positive support to students, provide additional assistance when necessary, and contribute to the assessment process for prospective students. Additionally, you will undergo training to become a Team Teach Tutor, providing guidance and support to staff in positive behaviour management techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with class teams to deliver positive support to students
Provide additional support to teams where necessary
Assist in the assessment process for prospective students
Train staff in positive behaviour support techniques and skills
Collaborate with the Head of Inclusion and Deputy Head to deliver appropriate training
Undertake data analysis to identify trends and patterns
Provide pastoral care for both staff and students
Work alongside in-house therapy and CAMHS teams
Develop strategies to reduce challenging behaviours and promote inclusion
Create and implement behaviour support plans and risk assessments
Requirements:
NVQ3 or equivalent qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or willingness to work towards)
Willingness to train as an Intermediate Team Teach Trainer
Previous experience in education or related environments
Physical and mental resilience
