Job Title: Supported Living Worker

Location: Cranleigh

Hours: 37 hours per week, night waking shifts on a rota basis, 52 weeks per year

Salary: Competitive, with £1,000 retention bonus and benefits package

Job Description:

As a Supported Living Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting our tenants during night waking shifts. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and well-being of our tenants throughout the night. This includes providing assistance and support if tenants wake during the night, helping them manage any feelings of frustration, anxiety, or emotional distress they may experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to tenants during night waking shifts, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Assist tenants in managing their feelings and behaviour, offering guidance and support as needed.

Complete Team Teach positive behaviour support training before employment.

Maintain physical and mental resilience, approaching challenges with a positive attitude.

Collaborate with colleagues to provide safe and effective intervention when necessary.

Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities provided by the Trust.

Requirements:

Caring and empathetic nature, with a commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals.

Ability to work night waking shifts on a rota basis, including weekends and holidays.

Willingness to complete required training, including the QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Own transport is desirable due to the semi-rural location.

Experience is not essential, as comprehensive induction and training will be provided.
