Job Title: Supported Living Worker
Salary: £21,616 - £22,388 per year + night waking allowance of £650 pa + £1,000 Retention Bonus**
Hours: 37 hours per week, night waking shifts on a rota basis

About Us:
This is a supported living house located in Cranleigh, situated midway between Horsham and Guildford. We provide support to adults with additional needs, including autistic spectrum disorders, learning difficulties, and language and communication disorders. Our priority is to create a safe and comfortable environment where our tenants can feel at home.
Role Overview:
As a Supported Living Worker, your primary responsibility will be to support the tenants during night waking shifts. You will provide assistance if they wake during the night, ensuring their safety and comfort. Your role involves guiding tenants through moments of frustration, anxiety, or emotional distress, helping them manage their feelings and behaviours effectively. Comprehensive training and mentoring will be provided to equip you with the skills and confidence needed for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to tenants during night waking shifts
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of tenants at all times
Assist tenants with managing their emotions and behaviours
Complete Team Teach positive behaviour support training before employment
Maintain physical and mental resilience to effectively handle challenging situations
Demonstrate a 'can do' attitude and willingness to learn and develop
Possess own transport due to semi-rural location
Requirements:

Opportunities for Growth:
Subject to two years’ service and completion of the QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, there is potential to progress to the role of Senior Support Worker. The Trust covers the cost of the diploma, and ongoing support and mentoring will be provided to facilitate your development.
