We are seeking a part-time (0.8 FTE) IT professional to teach on our BTEC L2, Digital T Levels, HNC/HND in Computing and Level 6 degree in Computing as well as delivering training for small groups of apprentices.
The role requires an excellent knowledge of programming software which may include Python, Java, C+, C++, C#, Visual Basic. We have launched a new honours degree in Game Design and Production and the successful candidate may have a key role in delivering some content on this.
Candidates should have proven experience in programming and/or networking with a good understanding of software and hardware across a broad spectrum.
Ideally applicants will have taught or delivered training and hold a relevant degree or the equivalent. In addition, you will need to be an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can engage with students to ensure that they reach their full potential.
