About the role:

We are seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic People Administrator (Trainee) to join our People Team, supporting the delivery of high-quality HR and payroll services across the Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the start of their HR career to gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised HR qualification. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake a Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship, and will be supported through this by the Trust, including being released from their day-to-day duties as required to attend training and complete their studies.

The appointed candidate will play a key role in supporting staff and leaders across our schools, ensuring HR processes run smoothly, accurately, and efficiently.

You will be involved in a wide range of HR transactional activities, including maintaining accurate employee records, supporting recruitment and onboarding processes, assisting with payroll administration, and responding to routine staff queries. You will also support wider People Team initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and processes.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Trust, you will develop your knowledge and confidence in HR practices, building the skills needed to provide accurate, timely advice and support to staff and leaders.

This post is permanent, 37 hours per week, term time only plus TED days and two additional weeks. The role reports to the Head of People and is based within one of our schools, with travel across the Trust required.
