Part time - 17 hours per week, term time only plus 10 days
Franklin Sixth Form College is a thriving, successful sixth form college serving North East Lincolnshire and the surrounding rural and coastal area, with around 1,600 full-time 16-18 and 550 part-time adult students. It is a vibrant college, and we work hard to make this a supportive and friendly place to study, with every student treated as an individual.
We are looking to appoint a talented and dynamic Receptionist with excellent interpersonal skills to join our team at Franklin College. This is a part-time (17 hours per week), TTO plus 10 days post. The college would endeavour to give the post as much notice as possible of any intention to the end of the contract.
The Receptionist role involves providing a welcoming and efficient, customer focused, first point of contact to all those contacting Franklin Sixth Form College in person, by telephone or email. The role is key to ensuring a first class and seamless experience for our student, staff and public members. Excellent communication and customer care skills, together with a pro-active approach to tasks and attention to detail are therefore essential. We need someone who can cope with many and varied tasks, whilst remaining calm and professional.
Applicants must have a good level of English and Maths with excellent communication skills, empathetic and able to work under pressure.
Sixth Form Colleges NJC point 3, £23,561 FTE increasing to £23,807 as of 1st April 2025 per annum
pro rata equates to £9,609.79 per annum, increasing to £9,791.97 per annum
