Technician for Performing Arts & Music
Full time and part time considered
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to support teaching staff in delivery of high-quality learning experiences across Performing Arts and Music. Under the guidance of teaching staff, you will provide technical assistance during lessons, as well as supervise and support students during practical and project-based work. This may also involve some evening work to support college shows.
The successful individual will be responsible for the maintenance and security of the working environment within the Performing Arts and Music departments. You will have responsibility for administrative duties such as stock control, planning for and processing orders for new equipment and assisting in the effective work of Curriculum Teams in meeting the needs of students and staff.
The Technician for Performing Arts and Music may also contribute to technical work in other Departments across the College if the need arises.
The hours of work are 37 hours per week, term time only. The salary is Points 5 on the Sixth Form College Support Staff Pay Spine, currently £24,191 FTE.
