Data, Funding and Information Officer (Management Information Systems)

Full Time - 37 hours per week

Permanent – All Year round

This is an exciting opportunity to join our MIS and Exams Department. The role of the Data, Funding and Information Officer is pivotal to the success of the College in managing data held on students as the college grows.

We are looking for an organised and contentious individual, with strong data management skills, to take a lead role in maintaining the accuracy of data held by the department, and to take a lead on ensuring compliance with auditing requirements.

Experience working with and managing large volumes of data, completing contractual or statutory returns within strict quality control guidelines is essential along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent English and Maths skills are also required.

In addition, previous experience of effectively managing a team of staff would be preferred, although this is not essential. Applicants who have a willingness to work toward and undertake management training would be considered.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:30am – 5:00pm/4:30pm Friday) all year round, however some flexibility in terms of hours/working arrangements would be considered for the right candidate. Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekend for College is essential.

The salary range for this role is SFCA Support Staff pay points 11 – 18 (currently £26,097 to £32,259) full time equivalent. The starting salary will be dependant on experience.
