This is an exciting opportunity to join our hardworking and dedicated team of HR professionals, working in a fast paced and varied role. The role of HR Officer is pivotal to the success of the College in building a culture of trust, embedding the College’s values, fostering a learning climate and building a high performing workforce.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced HR Officer; with a proactive and positive approach to work, thorough and well organised and able to work independently and under pressure. You will be Level 5 CIPD qualified (or working towards) and be able to provide an outstanding HR service to all internal and external stakeholders. You will have a passion for Talent Management and Learning and Development as these will be two key role priorities which are integral to the success of the College’s Strategic Plan. Previous experience of HR Business Partnering would also be advantageous but is not essential as training will be provided.

The HR Officer will possess a CIPD Level 5 Certificate (or be working towards) and must have at least 5 years previous experience in HR Officer role or similar. Previous experience of working within the education sector or for another registered body that undertakes stringent pre-employment checks and is required to be DBS compliant would be a significant advantage as the post holder will be responsible for the College’s Single Central Record.

This is a part time position working 30 hours over 4 or 5 days per week, all year round, however full time hours would be considered for the right candidate.
