TEACHER OF BIOLOGY (A Level and BTEC (level 3) Applied Human Biology)

Due to continued growth, we are seeking to recruit committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Biology to join our highly successful Science & Engineering department.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator with a passion for A Level Biology and Applied Human Biology, supporting a diverse cohort of learners. You will inspire students to explore the life sciences with curiosity and confidence, preparing them for higher education, apprenticeships, or careers in health, biomedical science, and related fields.

You will develop engaging and innovative lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking, supporting and motivating students to achieve their full potential. Working closely with colleagues, you will contribute to the ongoing success of our thriving Science & Engineering department and may have the opportunity to support other curriculum areas, depending on your interests and expertise.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across BTEC Applied Science and A Level Science subjects including Chemistry, Biology and Physics, as well as Engineering where applicable.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with a degree in Biology, Human Biology, or a closely related field, alongside a recognised teaching qualification or is working towards one.

Whether you are an experienced teacher or a trainee/student teacher, we welcome applications from those with a passion for education and the ability to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. Strong communication skills, as student centered approach, and a willingness to embrace new teaching methods are essential.
