Salary: Grade 12 – 19 £26,421 – £29,777 (Pro Rata)
Location: Willowdown Primary School, Kings Drive, Bridgwater
Contract: Part time – 32.5 hours per week, term time only
Term: Permanent
We are looking for a motivated and inspirational person to join our lovely school and
further drive the vision of our provision for supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and covering PPA for class teachers.
The role would suit someone with the experience and enthusiasm for working with Primary aged children. It’s a ‘once in a lifetime’ job opportunity that oozes job satisfaction for the right person!
You’ll need to:
• Work under the direction of the Head Teacher but also use your own initiative to make things happen, be creative and problem solve.
• Develop rigorous methods of promoting/reinforcing pupil’s self esteem and independence resilience, confidence and social skills through outdoor learning and track impact over time.
• Have good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Willing to work on a one to one basis with individual children and integrate them into the school setting; this includes helping them manage the strategies that are in place to access learning.
• Manage behaviour through a positive, inclusive ethos.
• Cover classes during teachers PPA time
