Your Role in Building Brighter Futures

As a Geography Teacher at Sir Bernard Lovell Academy, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. With our continual growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic teacher of Geography to join our thriving team. Geography is taught to all students at KS3 and is one of the most popular option subjects at KS4 with KS5 numbers continuing to grow. This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced teacher to join our Humanities department, which operates with a real spirit of collaboration and teamwork.

We are looking for a teacher with the dedication to motivate and inspire students and is keen to make a significant contribution to the further development of our department. If you are an innovative, dynamic and passionate teacher, we would welcome your application.

You must be a highly-organised individual who keeps track of your classes' strengths and weaknesses and takes ownership of their progress through the passionate delivery of carefully planned and engaging lessons. In doing so, you must embrace feedback and seek out opportunities to learn from those around you, in pursuit of being the best teacher you can be.
