About the role
Barclay Academy, part of Future Academies, seeks to appoint an inspirational Teacher of Science who is confident in their subject area, with the vision and drive to motivate and enthuse students. The Science Department is a collaborative and experienced team, who are passionate about embedding an academically rigorous curriculum and assessment model across key stages. Applicants are expected to be confident at delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4 with the opportunity to deliver A-level.
Barclay Academy was recently graded Good overall by Ofsted, with Outstanding for Leadership and Management, as well as Personal Development. We are continually developing an academic culture at Barclay Academy where the highest standards are expected of students and staff.
Applications are welcomed from ECTs, and also from those offering more experience. Ofsted highlighted the comprehensive ongoing training and support that are provided for staff, who also appreciate the thoughtful and meaningful consideration given to their workload.
