Your Opportunity
As Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our nursery children. You’ll play a vital role in shaping high-quality teaching, supporting child development, and working closely with families, staff, and external agencies. This role is ideal for someone looking to make a real impact on young learners’ lives while contributing to the wider vision and values of the school.
What we are looking for
- Level 3 Early Years qualification
- GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English
- Up-to-date safeguarding training
- Strong Early Years teaching experience with current pedagogy knowledge
- Experience in nursery or school settings
- Confident leading and working within a team
- Skilled in using data to inform planning and drive improvement
- Knowledge of EYFS framework, child development, and statutory requirements
- Clear communicator with excellent planning and organisational skills
- Creative, adaptable, and child-centred approach
- Passionate, positive, and resilient with strong professional values
- Committed to supporting children with diverse needs, including SEN
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, health & safety, and welfare standards

Start Date: 1st Sept 2025
Salary: GLF Associate Specialist Point 4 (£26,974) to Point 16 (£29,894) - dependent on experience
Actual Salary: £20,949.47-£23,217.30 (dependent on experience)
Hours of work: 32.5hrs Mon-Fri (term time only)
