GLF Schools seeks to recruit an experienced Interim Infrastructure Lead to manage the Technical Delivery Team and act as senior point of escalation.

Your Opportunity

The Interim Infrastructure Lead will provide day to day leadership of our infrastructure team to ensure systems remain available and reliable. Working with the IT leadership team to ensure that technical projects are planned, communicated, and delivered on time and with minimal disruption.

Our IT team is based in Meridian High School in Croydon. This is a hybrid role with the expectation of three days in the office (or another school site). You will be in control of where you work for the remainder of your hours, where the demands of the role allow. 

This is a fixed term contract until December 2024.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who has experience in:

  • Leading a technical infrastructure team with line management responsibilities
  • Key technical systems for on-premises services (e.g., networking, Active Directory, VMWare, Hyper-V, Backup Solutions) as well as experiencing with Cloud platform solutions (e.g., Google Workspaces, Azure, Office 365, Intune)
  • Implementing compliance and security strategies
  • Engaging with stakeholders from a variety of business functions (e.g., Finance, HR, Curriculum teams)
  • Providing high quality training and resources to develop team members
  • Working within a large team of multi-skilled IT professionals

The Details

Salary: £53,976 FTE per annum 

Hours of work: We are offering this role as a full-time role of 36 hours per week

Contract type: fixed term until December 2024

Start Date: ASAP
