The Role:
The Sports Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Casual Recreation Assistant to join their enthusiastic and hard-working team. The successful candidate will work around 6+ hours per week in a fun and enjoyable role.
Under the guidance of the Duty Supervisor and Manager, you will be responsible for the effective operation of the Sports Centre based on our vibrant Tycoch campus.
£13.45 per hour
You will have no fixed working hours, and will work on an ad hoc basis
You will be paid a month in arrears e.g. any hours that you work in June, will be paid in July, and so forth.
Key Responsibilities:
Your role will require you to supervise children’s parties, coach activities and conduct gym inductions. You will set up and de-rig equipment and carry out housekeeping duties to include cleaning and security.
Setting up of courts in accordance with the daily booking sheets, reception cover, Gym inductions and administration duties such as party and hall bookings.
Carry out such other duties as may be reasonably requested by the line manager.
About you:
You will possess 5 GCSE’s Grade A-C or equivalent and excellent customer service skills. A Sports Coaching Certificate is desirable as is a First Aid Qualification.
