The Role
To lead and grow the College’s commercial and apprenticeship development portfolio by securing new business, strengthening client relationships, and overseeing the creation of high-value commercial proposals that support organisational growth and deliver strong employer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the College’s business development function, ensuring cohesive delivery across all commercial activity aligned to growth priorities.
- Provide clear direction to teams responsible for client acquisition, account management, commercial opportunity development and proposal production.
- Foster strong collaboration between business development, curriculum, marketing and quality teams to maximise commercial outcomes.
- Oversee a structured commercial pipeline covering new client acquisition and existing account growth.
About You
- Degree or equivalent qualification
- Leadership and Management qualification, or willingness to work towards one
- Proven experience in business development, commercial sales or client management
- Experience leading teams to achieve commercial or income targets
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
