The role:
The aim of the role is to support learners throughout their learner journey to ensure they attain the maximum benefit from their Apprenticeship programmes both in College and the workplace.
37 hours per week
Fixed-term until 31st August 2024
£25,625 - £27,849 per annum
Jubilee Court Campus, Swansea
Key Responsibilities:
- Interview and advise prospective learners who express interest in joining the Apprenticeship programme via Careers Wales, open evenings and schools open days as well as Careers fairs.
- Administer the diagnostic assessment for learners that have additional learning needs and to liaise with College Support teams to ensure appropriate support is in place for all learners.
- Liaise with employers to ensure that Apprentices are appropriately placed, including use of the Apprentice Matching Service or similar.
- Act as a personal Learning Coach for individual learners giving advice and guidance during their time on the Apprenticeship programme and continue to monitor learners who experience issues or problems to ensure support is available during their period of training.
About you:
- Level 3 in Business Administration OR equivalent
- Experience of working with Apprentices providing advice and guidance and liaising with appropriate external organisations.
- Digital Literacy and IT Skills (Including Microsoft Office)
