The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Green Hub staff team at Gower College Swansea. Many of the learners have additional learning needs and some display challenging behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
- To deliver Landscaping & Horticulture learners aged 14 -19
- Actively contribute to the 14 - 19 curriculum
- Ensure teaching and learning strategies and teaching materials are planned as well as accessible to meet the varied needs of all learners
About you:
- Qualified teacher with experience of working with hard to reach learners
- Enthusiasm and passion for the outdoors / sustainable horticulture / landscaping and eco construction
- Excellent learner management skills coupled with the tenacity, commitment and patience to deal with a variety of learners, many with ALN and challenging behaviour.
