The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, talented and highly motivated individual to become part of the leadership team as the Multiply Project Manager. Multiply is a new government-funded programme to help adults improve their numeracy skills. It is a free provision aimed at anyone over 19 years of age that does not have GCSE Math's at grade C to build their confidence with numbers and gain a qualification (if applicable) to be able to secure employment and/or training.
The multiply project is funded through the shared prosperity fund by the UK Government.
Full-time (37 hours per week)
Fixed term – December 2024 (Secondment Opportunity)
£45,425 - £46,910 per annum (depending on qualifications and/or experience)
Across Campus
Key Responsibilities:
- Management and implementation of the college’s Multiply funded provision. Ensuring that the contract’s requirements are met, working with a range of internal and external stakeholders supporting them in course development and delivery.
- Developing high quality, inspirational, creative and inclusive programmes that maximise impact and fulfil the Multiply brief, whilst meeting the needs of the learners, employers and community.
- Manage a team of delivery staff and liaise closely with both internal and external stakeholders to monitor the quality processes effectively.
- Effective monitoring and review process to be able to report on progress against targets to various internal and external committees.
About you:
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
- A strong commitment to skills delivery and a good understanding and knowledge of developing curriculum to enhance progression and employability prospects.
- A confident communicator and committed individual who can engage, inspire and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- The ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the Multiply project.
