Haberdashers’ Monmouth School is seeking to appoint a Director of Finance to oversee the financial operations of the school.

We are looking for an experienced individual to join our team:
- You will have oversight of financial due diligence, compliance and reporting.
- You will be responsible for Strategy development: investments, budgets plans, forecasts, KPIs and financial modelling.
- You will be responsible for our Regulatory Compliance: statutory reporting, HMRC, Charity Commission and Audit.
- You will be responsible for the School Financial Services and Operations, payroll, operational reporting and cashflow management
The successful applicant must hold a recognised accounting qualification.
- You will have extensive leadership and management skills developed at a senior level in a large and complex organisation.
- You will have a track record of demonstrable leadership including influencing and motivating others to create positive relationships at all levels, driving continous improvement and transformational change.
- You will be able to demonstrate experience of strategic development and associated policy development and implementation.
- You will be able to demonstrate evidence of executing operational strategic plans to meet board performance targets.
37.5 hours per week throughout the year. Salary circa £70,000 to £80,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
