The Henley College seeks a Workshop Technician/Assessor to ensure smooth running of our manufacturing workshop and assist with teaching and assessment of student manufacturing. Qualifications include technical or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, workshop experience, and experience assessing students.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teaching staff during practical sessions

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and tools

• Ensure efficient running of the workshop and electronics lab

• Maintain accurate records and implement preventative maintenance procedures

• Work safely and participate in training and development programs

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Tenure of post: Permanent, Term Time Only, 38 weeks a year

Hours of work: 37 Hours Per Week, 5 Days a week

Salary: up to £23,628.00 per annum, pro-rated to Term Time Only Approx £19,750.00

Pension: Local Government Pension Scheme. This is an employee and employer contributory pension scheme.
