Teacher of Business Studies

The Henley College is seeking an experienced Teacher of Business Studies for a part-time, permanent position. The successful candidate will teach A Level, Vocational Level 2 & 3 BTEC Business Studies.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering courses, setting and marking assessments, assessing and reporting student progress, providing guidance and advice to students, contributing to marketing activities, and adhering to college policies and procedures.

Candidates should have a teaching qualification (or be working towards one), commitment to active and student-centred learning, up-to-date knowledge of educational developments, effective communication skills, and strong organisational skills. The ability to work collaboratively with a committed team of teachers and support staff is also essential

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Tenure of post: Permanent, Term Time Only

Start Date: ASAP

Hours of work:  0.5 - 0.7 FTE

Annual leave: 66 days per leave year (from 1 September to 31 August) (Pro rata for Part time)

Salary: The salary will be on The Henley Colleges Teachers’ Spine Point from £24,821.00 up to £41,516.00 per annum pro rata for Part Time

Pension: Teacher Pension Scheme (optional). This is an employee and employer contributory pension scheme.
