NAS Cullum Centre Administrator- Maternity Cover
16 hours per week – term time only, 38 weeks per annum
Actual salary £8,840 per annum
To commence September 2025

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed administrator to join our NAS Cullum Centre team on a part time basis. The right candidate will have exceptional organisation and administration skills.

Hinchley Wood School works in partnership with the National Autistic Society (NAS) supporting autistic students and their families. Our goal is to provide personalised provision to our students to meet the specific needs of each individual that we support. The Centre Administrator plays a vital role in that process.

The purpose of the role is to support the operation of the NAS Cullum Centre and provide clerical, administrative and other support as required. The role involves daily contact with families and professionals by welcoming users of the NAS Cullum Centre and offering appropriate support to meet their needs e.g. directing to activities and providing information.

You will be joining a supportive, committed and experienced team who work hard to ensure we achieve the best outcome for our students. The role is for 16 hours/4days per week, term time only. There is some flexibility available and the exact pattern of hours will be by agreement with the successful candidate; however, Tuesdays and Thursdays are core days. The actual annual salary is £8,840 (FTA 23,737).

Hinchley Wood School is an ‘Outstanding’ (Ofsted, 2023), inclusive and high achieving school on the borders of South West London. Oversubscribed each year, we have 1,355 students on roll, including 253 in our Sixth Form. We are one of the top 200 performing schools in England and Wales in terms of the progress our students make between the end of Key Stage 2 and their GCSEs. Hinchley Wood School has been ranked 18th in the Sunday Times Top Comprehensive Schools (2023) for results.

We take staff and student wellbeing very seriously and have invested time and money in ensuring that all members of our school feel supported and happy. Amongst our benefits, we offer:

• family friendly term time working;

• a commitment to professional development support and progression;

• a supportive and collaborative team;

• competitive salary and annual performance progression;

• staff benefits and discount scheme;

• two week Autumn half term;

• free use of onsite fitness suite; and

• membership of Local Government Pension Scheme with generous employer contribution (defined benefit scheme).
